![]() Teams of interviewers and observers followed 18 people at work and at play to learn more about how consumers are using mobile devices today – and in the future. In compelling video segments, we’ll take you behind the curtain to observe the power of mobile devices in cars, bars, hair salons, retail outlets and offices, and how applications have changed the way Americans interact with one another. "Goin’ Mobile" mixes reality TV and ethnographic research to explore how mobile phones create both instant access and often constant stress. We’ll also explore the impact of smartphone use while driving, how mobile devices bring families together, the smartphone "fun factor," and of course, how mobile phones are changing media habits and consumption. As mobile phone penetration eclipses computer, television and radio ownership, every broadcaster needs to understand the sociological and societal changes this phenomenon has created. |
